I forgot to mention. I took a 10 minute walk and took pictures of whatever interested me. The last one with the trees - the yellow house on the left is where I live. The sketch is my interpretation of the view from the balcony. Can you feel me? Ciao!
Thank you Lindsay. It IS a phoney holiday but hey, when else do we get spoiled besides our birthday? I am going to venture out to a town not far from here. It will most likely be buttoned up since it's Sunday but I want to find it so I know how to get there for their Tuesday market day. Then I'll be home for the day working in the journal, maybe sketching the geraniums I planted. Enjoy your day!

Thank you Nicollete. It has been an experience for sure. Far more challenging at times than I anticipated. Yesterday I drove to a town 20 minutes away and got lost coming back - took over an hour to find my way back BUT I encountered the coolest things! Being alone is an interesting experience. Nothing but your thoughts to keep you company.
The nice thing is that you have time to get lost! And like you said, you encountered some really cool things! That is so awesome. I'm loving the rest of your posts! :)
